Cub Scouts Is Over

Now that Dallin has turned 11, he is all done with Cub Scouts. At Pack Meeting last week, he received his final Webelos pins, his "Heavy Shoulders" award for earning all 20 pins, and his "Arrow of Light" award. He has worked hard these past three years and is looking forward to joining Boy Scouts. We are proud of him!

Fireworks

Glow sticks are always a hit.

This probably-too-long video is for all those who either chickened out or bailed out (you know who you are) and missed the great fireworks. You would have to be there to really appreciate them. They were fantastic, as usual!

Parade

We had a great time at the parade. The kids had a blast chasing after candy. Landon collected as much as was thrown at him, and then some. He says the candy was his favorite part of the parade. Go figure.

At one point, instead of candy, a hair salon was giving out free hair-dos. The kids were all into that.

Our "New" Pool

Some VERY nice neighbors gave us their pool that they were done with. After watching the pool get set up for over a week, it was finally ready to test the waters. Other than being a bit cold, it was prettty fun.

Dallin's Birthday Ride

Dallin quickly became the king of the cul-de-sac on his envied Green Machine. The other kids were like a swarm of flies all around him.

Even Mom got in on the fun. Leon was quite disappointed that he was over the weight limit.

First Lame Attempt

Okay, so after much pressure from my (Stephanie) sisters, I have decided to start a blog. I'm not sure exactly what will be in this blog since nothing noteworthy happens to me and I don't have the creative writing talent, but we'll see.
