Don't tell my kids, but I consider "leaf raking time" as a chance to get some free child labor out of them. They think it's too much fun to consider it work, I guess.
We just raked up and bagged all of our leaves today. 12 of those very large heavy duty black bags (after compacting the leaves as much as we could). I am sure we will fill up another 12 next week (Our trees still have lots of leaves). The kids thought raking up leaves was fun last week, but now it is old and has become a chore that they don't want to help with. Poor Ryan had to finish up by himself in the dark.

Cute picture of Landon!
Oh man, I remember jumping from the tree limbs into the pile of leaves we raked. That's not "work", it's FUN!!! I love fall, don't you?!
BTW...Thanks for the comments on my blog! I too, am a germ-a-phobe! Maybe too much, that's why anything they ARE picking up is getting them sick?!
I am totally into child labor :)!! That looks a little too fun to be fall into that category, though. Someday we'll have some leaves to rake.
