Dallin's Metal Mouth

So, it's official - Dallin is a metal mouth. After more than a year of orhtodontic work widening his jaw, he finally has something to show for it. He was a little nervous this morning, but he seems to actually like them. I think he feels like a teenager. So far he's not been in too much pain other than getting used to them rubbing on his mouth. He chose "midnight glow blue" for those who are wondering.

Oh, that picture is a painful flashback to my years in braces. I hated every minute of it. I can still remember how those metal braces rubbed against the inside of my mouth. AWFUL! Dallin is quite the trooper to go for this stuff!

Wow!!! Midnight glow blue... Dallin, does that mean you glow in in the dark? :)! They actually look pretty neat. I wish I had taken better care of my teeth, I'm sure paying the price now. Love Grandma!

Looks like no fun to me, but as a kid I remember wishing I needed them. For some reason kids think it is pretty cool, I think, until they get them and they cause them grief. Good sport Dallin!!! :)
