Lunch in the Canyon

Just about every year (except for the ones they have lived out of state) we get together with my sister and her family for dinner in the canyon. This year we had a busy summer and just managed to squeak in lunch in the canyon on one of the last warm days of the season. The kids played by the river for a very long time:Roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. Or, should I say "charred" marshmallows.

And, played games: The mountains were still hanging on to their last bit of color, the weather was perfect, and we all had a blast.

Well I'll just assume that the sister you're talking about here is Natalie. Can't tell for sure because SHE'LL never make a blog post about it. Nat, are you there? Are you reading this? Update your blog already! I'll double your usual rate to $6!! I get lonely over here.

Looks like a very fun evening together. Can I move to Utah already?

It was a spectacular day. I had to cut it short to do some work, but Natalie, Dave, and the family came over to continue the game play and have dinner. It was a grand day. Laurel you should move to Utah, but your going to have to start liking games and play with us ;)
