It is a yearly tradition to pick apples at Grandma's house - now "Great-Grandma" to my kids. This year we had some conflicts and only Cameron, Landon and I were able to go.
Landon really wanted to help and loved climbing the ladders as long as I'd "hold" it for him.

Of course, it's not ALL work. There is plenty of playing going on, too. Cameron and Landon instantly found these old hobby horses and a squirt gun and did what boys do best - play good guys and bad guys.
After a while I noticed that several kids were missing and found them in the house raiding Great-Grandma's candy and treats. Caught ya'!

Look at you! I am so impressed with the quick posting. It was a lot of fun...although I think I picked one apple....yep, that would be one. Sorry, got this baby. :)
I'm so glad you blogged about this. I miss picking apples at Grandma's house so much. The last time I was able to go was in 2002 before I was married.
I loved seeing Grandma's house and yard in the background of your pictures... it's been years since I've been there! How great that a whole new set of kids get to form memories of Grandma's house. I have so many good ones.
Looks like a great time, as always. I wish I was there. :(
I, too, am VERY impressed with your quick blog! For a minute I thought it was last year's blog. But then I realized you aren't quite THAT behind on your blog. But who am I to criticize? I have no blog. Does a school website count? Anyway, cute pictures. We are blessed to have so much family around us!
Love, Mom
P.S. Your blog is evidence you made it home safely. I worry about your driving since YOU worry about your driving! But all's well!
And you were so close to my home. I should have came! :)
What a fun tradition!
I know Dallin was uber bummed that he had to do a Scout activity. He so much rather have gone Apple picking at Great Grandma's. Jayden on the other hand, well lets just say he would have had a great time once he got there.
